Among the card games you can play in a casino, Blackjack is the one game where
skill and strategy make a huge difference when it comes to boosting up your winnings,
which is why it's very popular on the one hand, but on the other hand can seem
a bit intimidating for beginners.
The rules of online Blackjack are actually quite simple and easily remembered. The game also has a built in strategy table to assist you.

Rules The object of the game is to have a hand with a total value higher than the
dealer's hand, without going over 21.
When the player's hand is lower than dealer's, or over 21, the player loses.
When the player's hand is higher than dealer (but doesn't go over 21) the player
wins at 1:1.
If the player has Blackjack (an Ace+ a face card) the player wins and gets paid
at 3:2.
If there is a tie between the player's and dealer's hands, the bet is a push
(the player gets his money back).
Blackjack Card Values
In Blackjack the card values are different than poker or other table game, and
suits have no meaning.
- Cards 2 to 10 count as their face value
- J, Q, and K count as 10
- Ace can count as either 11 or 1, as it suits the player (For example, the
hand 3-6-A can count as 10 or as 20)
Game Actions
Blackjack is played in rounds where you place a bet, get your cards, and make
your decision until you and the dealer compare hands. At Money Casino's multihand
Blackjack you can one, two, or three hands in a single round.
Play Options HIT - to get another card STAND - keep the cards you have without getting any others
Additional Actions DOUBLE - To double your bet and get automatically another card. After doubling you can receive only one more card.
SPLIT - If your starting hand is a pair you can split it into two new
hands with a separate bet for each hand. (Therefore when Splitting you double
your bet). A Blackjack on a split hand pays 1:1. INSURANCE - When the dealer's open card is an ace, you can insure
yourself in case she has Blackjack. The insurance costs half the bet and pays 2:1.
It's important to remember that the object of the game is to beat the
dealer's hand, without necessarily reaching to 21. Be aware of the dealer's
limits; at Money Casino the dealer stands on 17, hard (where the Ace counts
as 1, or with no Ace) or soft (where the Ace counts as 11). The dealer
also must draw on 16. So keep in mind that if the dealer shows 5 or less,
you are better off standing on a low hand, because the dealer is at a
high risk of busting.
As for the additional actions you can take like Splitting or Doubling,
the well known blackjack tips are to Double when the dealer's card is
lower than 10, and always split a pair of Aces or Eights, but never Split
a pair of tens.
