Kicker

Kicker - When comparing two hands with equal winning combinations, the next high card, called the Kicker, determines the winner.
For example: two players have a pair of 10s. The first player's hand contains (besides the pair) K as the highest card. The second player's highest card is a J. Therefore the first player wins, because his kicker (a K) is higher.
