The Paroli Betting System

The Paroli is in fact a reverse version of the Martingale betting system, meaning that here the progressive betting works with a winning current – the player doubles the bet after a win, instead of a loss.
So in this anti-Martingale, positive progression system, the player starts with a fixed betting unit, and keeps doubling the bet after each win. In case a bet looses, the player regresses back to the original unit until he hits another win.
This system, much like the original Martingale is fit for Roulette, Baccarat, Craps, Blackjack, and other even bet games. As always, players are advised to be aware of table limits, and set up a big enough bankroll in advance to make sure they’re not cut off in the middle of a session, without recovering their losing bets.
How the System Works
For a start, the player decides on a betting unit and sticks with it. (For example, a $1 chip).
1) In the first round the player places a bet that equals 1 betting unit. (a $1 bet in our example)
2) If the bet wins, the next one is doubled ($2 bet). And so on until a bet looses.
3) If the player looses a bet, he goes back to placing 1 unit, until he starts winning and doubling again.
